The soft glow of the light that it gives off at night which is soothing and just enough to not keep your little ones up. Being able to control the intensity of the mist is a huge plus. We have since bought one for each of our children. These humidifiers are extremely easy to use and clean. Each night, we fill up the tank, screw on the cap and start it up. We empty it in the morning and let it sit out on the bathroom. We clean/sanitize each weekend which is very easy. There are very minimal parts and very safe for kids. We also love that this looks so great in a child's room. My kids can't sleep without it now because it provides a soft noise and nightlight. We even travel with them! I have a son with asthma and allergies and believe this has been a lifesaver for him. I&rsquo;ve had this product for over 3-4 years and it&rsquo;s still working great for us. It comes out all winter and spring when the heat is still on at night. If you crank the dial up all the way, then yes, whatever is below the mist will get damp. A lot of mist comes out at the highest option but I don&rsquo;t find a need for that much mist. All care and cleaning instructions were followed. This is a super common issue with these devices. When I returned our first one, the customer service rep told me that they have 3-4 returned a week for the same issue and she wishes they stopped selling them. Unreliable, poor construction and ridiculous care instructions.
