<span itemprop="description">I really hate to have to give the Big Brutus Swing Set only three stars. It is actually a five star set for the quality after being assembled. The problem is that five of the poles were bent on one end (think egg shaped) and an egg will not fit into a round hole. Fortunately for me, I have extensive experience with building so I knew how to round out those egg shaped ends so the pieces would fit to together. For someone with no experience at this kind of thing, I think assembly may be very difficult, if not impossible. With better quality control from the manufacturer, this would have been an hour - hour and a half assembly but with the extra work required, it took a full three hours to assemble. Instructions are clear and assembly should have been easy. Granted pieces are large and may be heavy for some, requiring two people. Once assembled, it is a great set. I added a baby swing for my two year old granddaughter and she loves it because the height allows her to swing high. All of the adults in the family have been able swing alongside her. It really is a great, heavy duty set, just be aware the you may receive pieces that will require some adjusting, or replacing in order to properly assemble.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was looking for a simple but sturdy swing set, which was challenging to find, but this set delivered. Nothing fancy, but it is well-constructed and pretty straightforward to set up given its size (definitely don't try setting this up alone though!), and big enough to grow with my child. I anticipate that this will last a long time.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My wife and I were looking for a swing set that could survive a bunch of 8 to 13 year old grandkids and we found that in Big Brutus. A super fast delivery and I'll say contrary to the instructions, I put it together by myself, except for tilting it upright after assembly, which requires two people. It is a well built swing set, it looks great in the rear of our back yard, and the grandkids have given it their seal of approval! Overall we have to give this an "A".</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a truly heavy duty swing set. It is very tall and solid. My kids are 11 and under and they use it every single day. Installation skill level was moderate. You need two people to lift it because of the height. The most challenging part was getting the legs secured to the ground. It was very hard to attach the ground anchors correctly. Overall, this is the best swing set we've ever had. We love it, and our kids love it too! Highly recommend buying this. It seems like it will last a long time, and the high weight limit means the kids won't grow out of it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this swingset for our 21-year-old special needs son who lives in a community home. Ben loves to swing. The set is high quality, heavily built, and easy to assemble. I would suggest at least two people. The extra set of hands is a must. This set could be easily be moved if needed. We were beyond pleased with this product.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this swing set in March as a 7th birthday present for my daughter. We were finally able to assemble the swing set this past weekend, May 7th. Just by assembling i could tell this is very sturdy and well built. Before we even had it anchored down, my 66 year old dad was swinging with my daughter (about 360lbs total weight) and the swing set wasn't budging! This was absolutely worth the price we paid as it will likely last until my daughter is an adult. This may even be the swing set used when my daughter has children! It is THAT sturdy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Picked up the Big Brutus as a Christmas gift to my kids. As a child there was nothing I enjoyed more than a large swing set. The bigger arch and height adds so much more enjoyment. I’m a reasonably handy average size man and it took a couple hours to assemble. You will certainly need a second set of hands when it comes to standing this unit up and moving it to its end location. Rock solid construction well covered with a durable coating I expect to last longer than my kids interest. Be prepared this thing dwarfs anything else in your yard. You want you kids to be higher than a 6ft fence swinging? This is the one! Caught it on sale and the price was completely reasonable. I couldn’t be more pleased.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this swing set last season, spring/summer of 2022. So far it has held up very nicely. It was used daily from spring to sometime in November, then we took down the swings to store away during the cold winter. We live in western Illinois where the weather is horribly humid in the summer with the typical four seasons; so it's enduring rain, snow, humidity, frost, 100+ degrees in summer and into the negatives in the winter. I point that out to say I don't see any rust anywhere, which was a major complaint on a different brand I was looking at, deciding between the two. The other brand had complaints of rust after a month.
The children have loved swinging everyday since we set it up. Even arguing over the swings. 🙄 More kids than available swings. I also enjoy using the swing set. I do some low ground, light swinging, nothing like a fearless child. My husband even takes a turn every once in a while. It's been a nice, well used edition to our yard.</span>

Now, with the Big Brutus from Backyard Discovery, he and his friends can swing together without fear of the swingset tipping! It is so perfect for our backyard! Assembly was easy, and with the ground anchors, it is secure and doesn't "kick" when the kids are swinging. I'll admit to even getting on and swinging too. I recommend this swingset for anyone who needs more height and a more heavy duty swingset option.</span>

The other kids like it, too. I was going to buy another multi function set but am so glad we stuck with what is important!</span>
