The doll is very pretty and the purple hair and clothing are a very vibrant dark purple. She comes with cute accessories and a complete change of clothes aside from the owl outfit and an adorable owl companion. She is jointed so all of her limbs are able to be posed in different positions. My daughter thinks it&rsquo;s funny that she can be dressed up as an owl but loves that she has the other clothes to hang out with her other dolls in. The hairbrush is easy to use on the doll&rsquo;s hair. Though she knew what to expect since it&rsquo;s the same surprise items (shoes, comb, little pet) as the other one, she still enjoyed herself. She spent the whole weekend doing the doll&rsquo;s hair and making the makeup disappear and reappear. However, there were a couple issues that were frustrating. The boots that came with it are very hard for her little hands to put on by herself and the doll&rsquo;s pants split when she tried to make the doll do some gymnastics moves. I should be able to see them up and I&rsquo;m sure the boots will get easier to put on with time, but it&rsquo;s still disappointing. These factors haven&rsquo;t stopped the doll from being played with, so I guess they&rsquo;re not dealbreakers for a 6 year old, lol. Overall, the doll itself seems to be good quality, the accessories are cute (and my kid&rsquo;s favorite color- purple!), and it was fun to open. The owl jacket is reversible and it changes to a really cute pink and purple jacket (my fave part) Barbie can be dressed in costume or in glam, whatever your little one is feeling for the day! She also comes with a choker necklace, headband, very tall purple boots, a cute brush, and a sweet little pet owl. The fun doesn&rsquo;t end after you&rsquo;ve opened the accessory bags, Barbie also has some more to reveal in cold water! Cold water added cute little stars to the dolls face along with bright purple lips! And the owl has sweet little hearts on its cheek after the cold is applied. Warm water with change it back. This doll is definitely worth it! The costume is well made from plushy and durable materials. The doll itself has a vibrant colored hair and its posable with articulations on elbows and knees. The revealing makeup part i don&rsquo;t care much for, as it only stays with cold water but it fades quickly and it&rsquo;s minimal. The face-up of the doll is pretty and the accessories provided for entertainment and playtime with the little ones. Kids these days love to open surprise packages, and this was no exception. She comes dressed in an owl costume which you can undress (coat, hat, shoes, mittens) to reveal the doll, which is very pretty. There are four other packages of surprises to open as well: a pair of boots, a pet, a comb with a sponge, and a headband and bracelet. The comb has a sponge because the pet's eyes close and the Barbie's makeup can be removed with hot water, and then cold water makes it reappear and the pet's eyes open. I did find that the water had to be very hot, very cold (iced) to work properly.
