I don&rsquo;t know what sensor it has but when my daughter wave her hand near the doll&rsquo;s face she&rsquo;ll respond bouncing up and down or giggling, it&rsquo;s a very unique feature. She doesn&rsquo;t have to keep pressing the baby&rsquo;s palm. The doll also drinks which is very realistic. The only flaw on this doll is the coloration of her hair seems patchy or faded, I don&rsquo;t know of that was intended or if bits and parts faded while it was handled. And sometimes she encounters an error after drinking milk she would go on an on with her sucking noise until her throat is dry then she&rsquo;ll giggle and talk again. The clothes it's wearing is very well made and won't rip apart the first time your child tries taking them off the baby doll. It's not made out of a soft body and is very durable. Honestly, she was kind of afraid of the noises this Baby Alive, Gotta Bounce doll makes. That's probably because she's never had too many toys that were noisy, especially not one that make baby sounds. But she eventually warmed up to it, although she does prefer to play with the baby with the sound off. The bouncing is cute but I think my daughter was expecting the baby to actually jump and not just bounce. It's kind of a weird feature for the doll to be able to drink water and urinate it out. My daughter didn't like that it only came with 1 diaper, and neither did I. I don't see the purpose of only including 1 diaper other than to assure that we have to buy more if we want to use that feature. Essentially, my daughter lost interest fairly quickly. Baby giggles and makes real life sounds and movements. She is able to bounce up and down and can still balance without falling over. She seems to respond easily to movement or by touching her hand. We love the slurping sound that the baby makes when she gets a drink from her sippy cup. She even leaves us wet diapers! Baby Gotta Bounce is a new hit in our house. The jumper is easy to remove and put back on, thanks to the Velcro closure straps. This doll can stand on her own and she also bounces with a simple squeeze of the hand. Fill her bottle to feed her and she will wet her diaper. She makes eating sounds while you feed her, and we found that she continued to make these sounds even when her bottle was not in her mouth, but eventually the noises stopped about a minute later. My daughter pretends to feed her from the sippy cup she came with, but we haven&rsquo;t actually filled it with water so she could wet her diaper. She also makes her doll hold her sippy cup in her hand. It&rsquo;s cute that she makes slurping/sipping sounds and says &ldquo;ahhh&rdquo; and &ldquo;more&rdquo; when you put the cup in her mouth. She also hiccups sometimes! My daughter likes seeing what she will do and say next! Besides baby talk/sounds, she also giggles, sighs and says &ldquo;uh oh&rdquo;, among the 25+ sounds she makes. I actually decided to keep the crib display box she comes in. It is made of cardboard, so I simply cut it and taped it together with duct tape. My daughter loves that she can put her in the crib that was once the box she came in. The doll actually wets after you give her a bottle. They do sell extra diapers separately, which my daughter has already asked for. The only thing I wish were different were that the dolls head was softer. I realize that this doll is made to just bounce up and down, but my daughter does try to cuddle with it anyways, a softer head would be good. Other than that, I think this baby doll is cute, and so does my daughter. I was pretty amused. Now that having been said, the doll really does bounce up and down and make baby noises which my granddaughter loved. But if you do not turn it off when not in use it will randomly start talking and bouncing, so you will want to turn it off. Other wise she loves it. I have this doll at my house when they come and visit. The 19 month old just loved her. She kept giving her kisses and patting her back, which was so cute! The older 2, when they come and visit, they will feed her and change her diaper. This doll will stand on its own and bounce up and down on her legs. I kept the cardboard crib that she came in so that they could use it for her. I will be looking for doll size accessories later. The doll makes many sounds such as cooing, hiccupping and other sounds. There is a button located on her back that shuts her off and then 2 other buttons. I am still trying to figure out the differences with the other 2. I didn't see much of an explanation in the instructions, but regardless, she makes sounds with both of the options. There are no small objects in which I can see a chocking hazard, but I do watch my 19 month old closely when she has it. The outfit has not buttons, only velcro attachments for the straps. Everything is easily wiped off, since there is no fabric other than her clothes which can be easily washed. This doll is small enough for the 19 month old to carry around, but still a nice size for the 4 year olds. Her eyes are very big, and her fingers are somewhat flexible, so they can bend. The 19 month old carries her with her pigtails! Her legs don't bend, so she can't sit, and her arms are also fixed.
