We haven't taken it to the beach yet, but it is perfect for her sand box. The truck is super cute and rides smoothly in the sand without getting stuck and can be used in grass, too. The set comes with a bucket, molds, the truck, a pinwheel, and a fun watering can. The can holds just enough water without making a huge mess. The set is well made and durable. He absolutely loves it! He uses it in his sandbox, with his water table and even in the bathtub. It comes in a zippered reusable bag which is great for storage and for carrying with us to the beach. I have gone through tons of different beach sets over the past few years with my older kids, and this by far is the best one. Most other sets are so flimsy and the plastic cracks and breaks so easily, but this is very high quality. The toys are made with a thick and very sturdy plastic. I can see this set lasting for years to come. The accessories all store inside the plastic beach bucket and my son loves fitting everything back togather to go between his sandbox and water table. My little ones have fun with it in the house, tub fun etc. There is so much you can play with this set, I love the quality that it is lasting through so much play, from sandbox to water it is great! The watering can actually holds water and it comes out the spout! The little truck can hold things in its back, the shovel and little rake work perfect in sand and dirt and even water! My kids have had many hours of fun with this toy set and are still enjoying it!
