I was a little worried about the wall climber but my 15 month old got the gist of it within 2-3 weeks (at first it was only if she got her foot started at the right place) we wanted to get her a slide because she loves the one at her daycare (with ladder) and she screeched of happiness when we put it together. definitely a hit. This climber is great for a first slide. The lack of steps are disapointing but I am sure she will learn how to climb the &quot;rocks&quot; soon enough (I knew before buying). Assembly was very easy (slide a bit tricky). Little tikes used to build a castle version of this with a wheel and sometimes even a telescope (for some reason mine has a red bolt at the top with no purpose without being able to attach a toy). I chose the climber without the swing as I read it was unstable and short to push. Overall happy with this purchase as I got it on sale. Slide was slightly dented in packaging, but I popped it back and looks okay. We will maybe dig out the unused stack of phone books to prop under the slide. For the regular price, I wouldn't waste my money.
