I wish there was an accessory or 2 to do the hair on top, maybe a comb? First the idea of placing on shoulder is a good one however, the magnet is not strong enough. If there were a market for any age above three I feel it should have multiple voice changing modes as most of the electronics today such as microphones have multiple modes. Also there should be a volume button as this was not very loud. My 4 year old grandson did like it and found it interesting and entertaining he did loose interest in a few hours I believe if the above were in place he would have played with it more.. The first thing he loves about this bird is how it has a magnetic piece that you put under the shoulder of your shirt to keep it on your shoulder. I could not figure out how to get the bird to repeat what I said but my son was able to very easily. It was so much fun for him to play with and very easy for him to figure out how to work it. His eyes change color and he also plays music! He has held up being dropped and played with by a 5 and 3 year old. They are still interested in him 1 month later. We did not really use the metal plate that makes him stick to your shirt (just seems unnecessary). I&rsquo;m pleased how durable he is and that he can handle rough play with my boys! It&rsquo;s so adorable lol, and one of those &ldquo;ugly but cute&rdquo; things. It&rsquo;s small which makes my son love carrying it around talking about &ldquo;his chicken.&rdquo; My 5 year old likes to play with it too since it copies what you say in a silly voice. I was planning on giving it to my niece, but my youngest immediately wanted it. Unsure of price, but I know Vtech normally prices well for what they give. Definitely recommend!
