It took me a while to realise it needed batteries but once I figured it out it worked perfectly. The van is well built and a lot bigger than I expected it to be. Definitely one that he will be playing for a long time. Secondly - why fit a battery operated element with no batteries, it felt like Christmas morning getting this open only to find I needed to raid remote controls for spare batteries?! Third - the packaging was poor, which actually resulted in damage to mine, not helped by slightly flimsy build quality, so the pop out door is how completely random, IF you can get it to close at all. Forth - instructions were nearly non existent. Yes, it shows how to replace the battery and where to put the stickers (which is also a HUGE pain!) but what about the moving element? Troubleshooting/reporting issues? Maintenance? Etc. My son is 6 and put the toy together with a little help. It has fantastic features, with the pizza firing device. Be careful that your pets are out of the way though as those pizzas fire with quite some force! It&rsquo;s a shame that there aren&rsquo;t any turtle figures with with the toy as they are a quite expensive addition.
