While she found the building process slightly complex, she absolutely enjoyed the final product. This toy offers great play features for a small toy such as the rotating propellers. The figurines are also well-sculpted and painted. So nice to see a return of the hornet, even if it can't shoot actually projectiles like the last one. The figures are really cool especially the ODST. The rotating gyro feature is interesting, and the whole thing was fun to build. The only real problem I have with it is that the windshield doesn't fit to a point where there aren't any gaps, albeit small ones. Still super sweet. They come with weapons that snap into their hands so they're a *little less* likely to get lost. Mega blocks Hornet Recon with its high level of detail and quality design makes Mega blocks stand above the competition. From moveable landing gear, head light, wing thrusters, and twin mounted cannons, my kids had no trouble immersing themselves into their imaginations. Not to mention the points of articulation of the figurines are designed with; something you don&rsquo;t get with other building block&rsquo;s figurines.
