He also loves wo build. So when we saw this pokemon mega construct we had to try it. It was so fun and easy to build. The instrutions were simple and clear. It turned out just like the picture on the box! Mybson absolutely loves it. He is begging for the whole collection! The construction part was a little challenging to my 9 year old and couldn't complete without help from adults. It was a fun family project and we enjoyed putting it together. My 9 year old son enjoyed putting this together. Was so happy playing with it as he is a packmen fan. Also, the assembled toy stays pretty well together while playing with it. The Corviknight&nbsp;assembled toy has posable wings, head and legs. My son really enjoyed building this model. The build itself is a little challenging because most of the pieces are the same color. There were a few times that he got frustrated because he thought he was missing pieces, but they were all there. It has some very unique silicone feather pieces that are held on between bricks. The feathers, head and other parts are attached with ball joints so it is fully articulated. The pieces arrive in 3 separate clear bags. The instructions were easy to follow. This set is very detailed. The wings are made of a rubber type material and add a different feature to the set. The mouth can open and close. And the head, wings, feet and tail all can move. My 9 year old son loves all things Pok&eacute;mon! He had just gotten a Corviknight card, so this was a perfect addition. We have many of the Pok&eacute;mon Mega Construx kits, including the Eeveelutions, single kits and battle scenes, so my son knew just want to do. The bags and steps for assembly are very clearly marked, the pieces are easy to identify and he was able to put Corviknight together in just a few hours in the basement with a friend. Sometimes the smaller pieces can be a little hard to snap together for little fingers, but he didn&rsquo;t need my help for this one. I would say it was pretty age appropriate for an 8/9 year old. The pieces were organized into numbered bags and the directions were easy to read. My seven year old son especially enjoyed the detail of the specific highlighting of brick nodes in how pieces fit together. From the start, my son was very interested in building a known Pokemon character. He did have difficulty having some of the pieces stick together. Overall, he really enjoyed building this set. He was able to build it almost entirely independently from the directions. There were a few places where we had to force a piece to fit or one came easily apart due to the cut of the piece. Highlights of the build were the unique feather construction and the flexibility of the set in imaginative play.
