My 3 year old grandson loves when we get them out to play. He was good at putting the blocks together right away and has fun opening the doors and spinning the different parts. He sits and builds then breaks it down and starts all over again. I almost opened the box and played with them myself before gifting to my nephew. They're just fun and come in a wonderfully packaged box with a handle on top. They are sized perfect and vibrant eye catching colors. They are helpful with motor skills as they have windows to open and things to spin. Very well made sturdy pieces will allow for generations of fun. The blocks are quiet big, but she can still hold them easily. Stacking the blocks and taking the blocks apart is easy as well. They come with fun little designs on the side, such as a clock with hands that actually spin and some have doors that open, which are my daughters favorite. The blocks, while made of hard material, do not have sharp edges, which is important to a mother who has a baby that trips and falls while learning to walk. I love the bright colors and that there are no small pieces that can be swallowed. I think these blocks are great for young children, the only con I have with them is that there is no storage container for them.
