We're big Minecraft fans and the attention to detail in the pieces was very good. The completed large figure has a mechanism that shoots a plastic slime out of its mouth that the kids enjoyed. There were also extras of some of the really small pieces, which I find helpful as there's always a lot of tiny components in these sets! If you've got a Minecraft fan in your life, this is a good set across age ranges because of its detail and action. Younger kids will need some help putting it together, but making it work is rewarding.</span>

My daughter and husband love both Minecraft and LEGOs so it was a treat for them. The set is pretty large so it took my six year old a while to put together. The recommended age is for it 8 though. I love that LEGO always has good instruction books. Legends series is a unique series for Minecraft enthusiasts that is not very well known which makes it even more interesting.</span>
