I won’t lie: I am JUST as happy as I hoped I would be playing with the huge mini(?)fig. I turned into an 8 year-old for awhile and then set my sights on building the car and tree. Both were fun builds that my son directed. The fact that this set features the first-ever specifically moulded Brachiosaurus however prompted me to finally purchase it. The build(s) of the signature jeep (and tree) were a great build, but the magnum opus was the gigantic dino! While the price is a bit too high for me, the fact that I can finally display my new Brachiosaurus in my jungle MOC is the major draw. P.S. I had the original Dino, brick-built Brachiosaurs back in the early 2000's, so this was also a major nostalgia-blast for me!
Date published: 2024-04-09

Rated 4 out of 5 by denverdan21 from Nostalgic In 2024, it’s easy to take Lego for granted when sets don’t live up to could have beens or should have beens. I am a huge fan of the original Jurassic park movie as well as Lego and I loved this set for the pure nostalgia in Lego form. It’s definitely expensive for what you get but the jeep and tree are fun builds and the brachiosaurus looks awesome. I wish Dr. Grant had an alternate expression like Ellie does for when they see the Dino for the first time but that is nitpicking. Overall, these 30th anniversary sets hit on the nostalgia for me and that’s all I can ask for! I was at first mixed about the Brachiosaurus torso and legs as they come as one piece similar to Duplo. After thinking it over and my sons both playing with it, I now prefer it over the separate legs. It's more stable with the fixed legs and I don't have to worry about the connector peg breaking on one of the legs and making it unplayable (which has happened to one of our Ankylosaurus and Triceratops). Only complaint is I would have preferred to have more printed bricks and fewer stickers for a 9+ set
Date published: 2023-09-01

Rated 5 out of 5 by PetitHommeDesBois from Brachiosaure au top Esthétique de l'arbre une fois montée originale même si la notice est parfois peu claire pour un enfant de 6 ans.
