<span itemprop="description">When they say this is for age 18+ builders, they mean it. This set is not for the impatient and easily frustrated. You need to pay attention while building this and attaching each section of the bird is a bit fragile. That said, once complete, this is a stunner to look at. Beautiful shaping, and very unique. I hope LEGO will make more sets of beautiful birds at this level of detail.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall this was a fun build, I found parts 'grew' very quickly; the base and most of the water effects were fast but I made the mistake of doing the 'splashes' at night which made the transparent bits tricky under artificial light. Body, wings, tail were no problem but the head (and fitting it) was a bit of a nightmare. Lego has a habit of securing a fairly large, solidly built part of a model to another in a way which requires you to hold it by or fix it with a hugely more fragile part, which inevitably results in bricks pinging off or coming apart and needing to be reconstructed. Such was the case with the head here which took me a few attempts to sit nicely and keep all its bricks together. Once completed it does look good but needs to be displayed at the right height for best effect.</span>

I don’t know about others building experience, but I felt as though some parts were very hard to build. Pieces kept falling off and mounting the bird proved to be sort of difficult. Maybe it’s just me though. Overall, love the water aspect, and the wings are beautiful! The fish in the mouth is a great touch.</span>

The pieces don’t even stay connected. I will stick to the technics from now on cause this bird is a joke. Should be half price.</span>
