My boys (4 and 8) have other Mario Hot Wheels sets and were excited to give this one a try. It takes some practice getting him to jump the waterfall but they were that much more excited when he did. I would say you need help from an adult for anyone under 7 or 8, and even still it&rsquo;s probably best just to have help. They required minimal adult support. They have played with this just about every day however, it does not hold their attention for longer than 5 to 10 minutes since It is the same thing over and over again. They have made some obstacles for Mario to jump over which they enjoy. It's already to assemble and easy to play with. My 9 year old assembled it himself with my supervision. They don't connect, but its fun having different courses! The pieces were super easy to connect, and it's not that difficult to store. Set comes with one Mario. We loved that he reset himself. It's magic. The Hot Wheels Super Mario playset required a little adult help to set up but went together easily. We have been playing with this toy for a few weeks and it seems very durable and hasn't broke yet even after repeated play. The Mario cart Hot Wheels car that came with the product is a little small so it takes a little practice for a kid to actually get the car to zoom around the whole track. I would recommend this toy for kids who enjoy building things and playing. Assembly was very easy, but be careful with the stickers. It took a few tries for the kids to get the hang of launching the car with enough momentum. Once they did, they were having a blast.
