While I was initially against the modern versions of these toys because they're more commercialized than what I grew up with in the 80s, I've really come around to appreciating them. The slightly larger size is better for little hands and they don't present the choking concern that I would have had with old versions of these toys. The detailing on these is really nice while still maintaining simple construction that is durable. They're one of the few toys that I don't worry about my kids breaking when they get stepped on or dropped down the stairs. They're interchangable and compatible with various play sets, so my kids can use these Disney Princess Snow White and Dopey figures with a variety of other scenes that they create. They encourage imagnative play and they fit with other little people sets. My only dislike would be that Snow White doesn&rsquo;t have lipstick. My little girl thought she should&rsquo;ve had red lips. The details are absolutely great, from the kiss upon dopeys head to the bird that sits on snow whites hand they are perfect.
