The first comment they made was how pretty the packaging was. They loved that they immediately recognized the scene from the Barbie movie based off the outfit Barbie is wearing. The doll itself is beautiful, her hair is neatly pinned up in a bun, her outfit is soft and crisp. We love the little accessories it came with, such as the shoes, the glasses and the hair bow. As a mother, this doll and the scene she depicts is very powerful and impactful to me, I love that as i observed my daughters holding this specific doll, that I could hear in my head the scene from the movie where America Ferrera tells Barbie what it&rsquo;s really like being a woman or a girl. It was such a powerful scene and this Barbie represents that beautifully. My daughters chose to keep Barbie in her packaging so they could admire her for a long time. I love that this doll brought so many topics of conversation between myself and my daughters from the movie and just life in general. It really made me feel like we were in a Barbie movie scene.
