Just on one side there is 3 different ways to doodle; dry erase board (have to buy your own markers though) , use the magic pen for help with tracing, and you can clip on some paper for just normal coloring. Then the other side is chalk (only comes with 3 pieces) chalk can get a little messy but thats about it. its wonderful for my 2 yr old who is obsessed with doodling :D</span>
