It's too cold to use it outdoors with the canopy but we've used it indoors plenty to help us keep tabs on our crawler while we make dinner. It's big enough to fit my 7-8 month old son inside and some toys and room for him to crawl around. There is enough room for an adult to sit in there as well but not so much room to crawl with toys after that. Packing it up is easy enough but sometimes I'll just turn it up on its side rather than pack it up since it's not that easy. I wish I had one of these when my 3 children were babies. It folds and unfolds like an umbrella in about 15 to 20 seconds. Set up is very easy. Safety straps are very easily connected to keep the playpen solid and secure. I read previous reviews where infants had difficulty standing in it. We have not experienced this at all. Our little one is 14 months and almost ready for his first steps and he pulls himself up and stands in it with ease. I like it because there is room for an adult to play in it with the child or it will easily hold two toddlers. For safety it travels with our grandson wherever he goes. We use it for short periods of play or while we need a safe place for him during meal prep etc. It's not a suitable playpen for travel sleeping as the base is nylon only. Very portable</span> <span itemprop="description">This is a great playard. It is so easy to put up and I really love that it has a sun shade that blocks 98% of UV rays. I plan on using this up at the cottage, on the beach and out in our yard this summer, but for now I'll be using it inside as somewhere safe to put my baby. It's much bigger than most playards, and I can get in and sit down with her if needed. I also love that it is very compact when folded up.
