Wouldn't recommendI bought this warmer to keep in my baby bag because of its size. I thought it was convenient for when we are at other people's houses. I read the directions many times to make sure I wasn't making mistakes but the warmer would boil the milk to the point where it would evaporate and boil in the bottle if I didn't watch it and take it out before it was finished. The milk even smelt burnt. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Better off running your bottle under water away from home. For home use, I bought the Born Free Tru Temp and its amazing...been using it for 4 months and haven't had any problems.

Rust! This heater has a few engineering problems. First, the heating element rusted within a couple of uses and began putting rusty water all over our baby's pacifiers and bottles!! :0 X| Secondly, the larger Nuk bottles (10oz) don't fit with the ring, so all the steam just pours out ineffectively. Lastly, the water reservoir is a pain to put back onto the unit and is constantly falling off. The auto shut off works with the water; when the steam is gone and the element is dry, then it shuts off. That means that if you put in too much water, your milk can literally be steamed to boiling.

Poor designLike many current reviews on this product, i too agree that this model makes the milk too hot or too cold where you have to use multiple times, that is not however my beef with this unit. Poor design is my issue. Often with new borns or having multiple young kids in the house you have to operate with one hand and the other holding a child. This warmer has a downward pushing button at the front of the unit and no supporting leg in that area, which results in tipping every time you try to operate without the aid of a second hand. I have spilt more milk than warmed in this unit and its time for a change. Not to kick a dead horse but the bottom element corrodes easily and we have had to purchase distilled water just to avoid maintenance. poor design is my point all around.

Good value for priceWe were given an older model of this warmer as a "hand me down" so when it wore out (we were the third family to use it) we purchased another one. The heating grid is more of a guideline, you need to experiment with the required water level for the volume of formula in the bottle.

Better Warmers Out ThereThis bottle warmer failed to impress. It was inconsistent to the warming temperatures. Sometimes too hot or too cold when put on for the same amount of time. There is always extra water left over in the bottom of the warmer and the inserts are difficult to clean. I do like that it has an insert to steam and clean bottle nipples and pacifiers but other than that, there are better bottle warmers out there.
