So as soon as these sets were available, we purchased all of them (including the Blizzard Exclusive)! Upon building this set, my daughter noticed that the Mercy minifigure looked "funny." Indeed, the printing for Mercy is very pale and looks nothing like her box-art counterpart or her on-screen presence. I trust that LEGO will correct this mistake and look forward to replacing this face with one that reflects the true appearance of our beloved Mercy. Sadly, until then, I can't fully recommend this set.
Date published: 2019-02-21

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bricker96 from Very nostalgic set, one small issue As a huge Overwatch and Lego fan this was a very fun set for me to build. I worked on it for a few days and was very happy with the result. The only flaw as the other comments have stated is the paint on Mercys' face. It is very greyish and faded almost like the printer was running out of ink. It was a little upsetting as Mercy is my favorite character but I still highly recommend.
Date published: 2019-02-19

Rated 3 out of 5 by amrasnenharma from Decent set with a major flaw The set overall it pretty good. A fun design with lots of play options. Sandly the back of the launch tower was not finished off like the other 3 sides. The main issue is Mercy's face. The actual product looks much different from what is advertised. (Something thankfully very uncommon with LEGO) Mercy's face looks pale, colorless, and almost gray. LEGO has successfully printed faces on black heads in the past, so I thought it may have been a bad version. I contacted LEGO and they sent out a replacement. The replacement is slightly worse. I have included a photo showing Mercy's face taken from LEGO's website, then My Replacement, then the Original one from the set, and finally a Stormtrooper head. As you can see Mercy's head is sickly and ugly compared to what is advertised, and compared to LEGO's past successes of printing on black heads. I hope LEGO is able to fix this and sends out replacements. Mercy is a major selling point of this set. If you can accept these shortcomings then it is a good set, however if you are looking for a Mercy fig, prepare to be disappointed.
Date published: 2019-02-11

Rated 4 out of 5 by FDGlennon from Great set with a couple of issues This is a great set that is a fun build but it does have a couple of issues. The face of Mercy is poorly manufactured resulting in a grey face instead of the white one shown on the packaging. Lego really dropped the ball in quality control. The cargo bay for Winston is too small to comfortably fit the figure and is poorly detailed so looks a bit bland and not an area anyone would travel in. More space and detailing would have been nice.
Date published: 2019-02-04

Rated 1 out of 5 by NellyFlo from Why the Rocket from Watchpoint: Gibraltar? Maybe there are people who are willing to pay alot of money for the overwatch figures but who in the world wants to have the Rocket from Watchpoint: Gibraltar? The ONLY cool thing about the Rocket is, that is starts at the END in the BACKGROUND, but it is still absolutely unimportant. Overwatch Places are totally not suitable as lego packs. Maybe build Omnix, other Robots like Orisa or Wrecking ball but not parts of the locations especially if they're way to expensive to build. Ps: I would have given it 2/5 bricks if Lego has't called 2/5 bricks "fair"
Date published: 2019-01-27

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kinoko from Please Fix Mercy's Face! My boyfriend and I build and collect LEGO together (I manage the account, but this set was for him). We're also both big fans of Overwatch. This is the first time we've been disappointed with a LEGO product, and it's entirely because of the paint quality on Mercy's face. Mercy is his favorite character, so this was the most important piece in the whole set for us. Compared to Tracer (my favorite and main, from a different set), Mercy's face should be roughly the same color. Instead she looks like she's wearing gray/white facepaint. She looks creepy. It's completely off-model for one of the game's most popular characters. The rest of the set is great, but this a big disappointment for us. Is there any hope of getting a reprinted face for her in the future?
Date published: 2019-01-20

Rated 5 out of 5 by forlucia from Trendy set It was a present for my kid for NY! The big problem with it is the mercy minifigure. The face is not colored right at all compared to the box or instruction booklet, she has a pale grey face instead of a flesh colored face. It has great presence due to its size and many great play features. The ship build is pretty fun with many custom pieces that aren't common in most sets. The combination feature is pretty cool and brought memories of some of the older space sets. Most of the figures are truly well made and represent their video counterparts accurately. Except Mercy. The figure's head is printed in exactly the same disappointing manner as Misako from the Ninjago Movie sets. Instead of opting for a thicker primer, Lego seems to have skimped during the printing process, yet again, resulting in a grayish face. It's color is uneven and mine even sports remains of paint bubbles around the nose area. Feel free to take a look at the included picture. As a Lego & Overwatch fan I would have forgiven Lego had they sacrificed the black portion of the headpiece for a properly printed face. In fact, Lego, how about a re-printing her head? I would even pay for it, even though it really is a bad quality decision. Now, I realize this is a lot of strong nitpicking for one figure in a fairly big set. That said, we now have Lego Overwatch because of how well designed and polished their game characters are. Besides being good play sets, the one thing that will sell these sets are the figures because fans of the game will want them. I know I do... er, for my kids. ;) So finding out one of the fan favorites is poorly represented is sorely disappointing.
Date published: 2019-01-10

Rated 5 out of 5 by MatthewParry from Great display piece with excellent minifigures I was a little skeptical at first given the the fact that the launch pad and rocket barely feature in the game but seeing the finished product left me with a smile on my face. The rocket is a great build, it's sturdy and has great integrated action features that don't spoil the aesthetic appeal in any way. My only complaint would be that it is hard to get all of the minifigures and there accessories inside at once for storage. The launch pad is sturdier than I thought it would be and has a nice level of detail and texturing. I do wish the shuttle was a bit more secure in the structure as it is only held in place by gravity. The minifigures are fantastic though I do have some minor problems with them. Reaper is well done and the inclusion of the wraith leg piece is nice but the lack of print on his regular legs is disappointing. His shotguns are well done if a bit bulky. Winston is great, a nice mold with good brick built accessories. Pharah looks great, the adjustable jet pack and helmet are really well done. I would of liked an extra hairpiece (like with Reinhardt) to display her without the helmet, especially as it covers most of her face. I like the design for mercy, especially the brick built staff and duel moulded hairpiece, but she is let down by the odd skin tone on the face (a result of printing tan onto black) and her wings lacking detail, ideally she would have had duel moulded wings to bring in the translucent yellow. I would definitely recommend this set to overwatch fans who can afford it as it comes with a wide range of heroes and is very impressive on display.
Date published: 2019-01-08

Rated 2 out of 5 by BellyButton from Nice set but have QC issue I purchased this LEGO set and found out "Mercy" minifigure have painting issue. She should be a white girl but come out with silver color. It's totally different as box art and user manual. (Attached picture) LEGO corp can't take care QC is a mistake. This Overwatch LEGO set actually really good. It's have lot of surprise on the rocket itself. If not the Mercy issue, it's a perfect set for Overwatch Fans.
Date published: 2019-01-07

Rated 5 out of 5 by TahuKenobi850 from generally great set Initially I was skeptical of the build. it has little to no in game significance and cant' be interacted with by players. however, the many play features, such as the hidden missiles, the splitting function, and the space at the back for minifigures to sit, more than make up for this. Ultimately, the build exceeds it's in game reputation. Reaper is mostly pretty good. his printing, new fabric piece, and shotgun builds, are fairly accurate and well executed. What really seals the deal is the inclusion of the Banshee/Dementor leg piece to represent his Wraith form, adding to playability options for him, 5/5 Winston is a great addition to the bigfig roster. The detailing on his torso and arms, as well as tesla cannon and jump pack, really show that lego was committed to making Winston's figure a good one. 5/5 Pharah is a fantastic minifgure. her printing is great and her new helmet mold is amazing. the use of the nexo knights armor works surprisingly well here, and the wings add a lot of playability and a layer of finish to her design. A hair piece for pharah would have been nice, along with a seond set of wings, but both of those are negligable, 5/5 I can tell that a lot of effort went into making Mercy, along with a few tough decisions. Her arms were never going to be perfect, and the orange works well enough, but white might have been better. the wings aren't ideal but they work well enough. her new hair mold and torso and leg printing are amazing. Unfortunately, her face, as with most attempts by Lego to print light flesh onto a dark head mold, is a disaster. Mercy tries, but fails, to be a strong minifigure, 3/5 Despite Mercy falling short, Watchpoint Gibraltar is still a remarkable set that I would reccomend to Overwatch fans, fans of Mercy, Pharah, Winston, and Reaper, and fans of the lego space theme.
Date published: 2019-01-04

Rated 4 out of 5 by SimsWabbit from Great set! great lego overwatch set, if you like overwatch sets this is a great one, I love this set so much however, there are some issues, mercy's face has a weird print issue over the black head.
