He loves to have wrestling matches with his friends and declare a champion (or champions). The tag team championship belt looks just like the real thing and comes with Velcro so it can be adjusted to fit any size child. The only thing my son complained about was that it only came with one belt. All opinions are my own. First off I just say my husband is as excited about this belt as the kids. It is new and improved since the ones they had when he was a kid. The belt is made of a red leather like material. It has three silver plastic emblems on the front. The middle emblem on the belt says &ldquo;Tag Team Champions&rdquo;. The under side of the belt has black bolt like parts that keep the emblems in place. The belt comes equipped with a Velcro closure on one side and a piece of Velcro that you stick to the other side to fit for your liking. This is the perfect item for wrestling fans, kids or adults! Very nostalgic for those my age who grew up watching wrestling. The product is rated for ages 8+ but my almost 9-year-old wrestling enthusiast opened the package, tried on the belt, did one move, and threw it in the chair. The belt is pretty simple in construction but does seem like it would hold up to wear except for the velcro used to fasten it closed. I love the fact that Mattel has considered that kids are not all one size and has left one section of velcro unattached for sizing. Unfortunately, it seems like the adhesive is not strong and if you have children of different sizes they cannot wear the belt without having to move the velcro piece. He's been wearing it off and on since Easter. The look of it was great, and it wasn't too heavy. The plastic medallions have a nice design and are lightweight. It was easy to put on once we figured out the Velcro. We did have an issue with threads coming off the sides of the belt (it's looking a bit stringy) and the Velcro not holding well even though the adhesive is supposed to be permanent once it is in place. I think it might have been better with a buckle and holes, more like a standard belt, but it's still fun for him to use and pretend he's John Cena. They love it! It&rsquo;s just some fun for the kids to pretend that they are tag team champions against my husband and I like that it keep them off of their tablets, haha. Gone are the days of kids belts being made with Styrofoam that doesn't conform around the waist. This belt is made with faux leather or vinyl, I cant tell but the material is made to strap around the child and they can walk around wearing it without worrying about it falling off. My nephews love this belt so much they have impromptu wrestling matches around the house. The championship plates are nice and shiny and great replicas of the actual tag team belt from the WWE. It looks just like the actual Tag Team Champion belt. The belt part is made out of some kind of pleather which gives it a nice feel. The disks are a thicker plastic with lots of little details. The back connects together with velco which you place the first time you use it. I like this feature a lot as you can personalize it for your child and it's not too big or too small.
