With my first baby, we would roll blankets and put them next to his head to provide cushioning and support. With the JJ Cole Head Support, this is no longer necessary. My newborn's head fits snugly with the newborn insert in and I love that this one product will grow with him. The first time we used it, we went on a shopping trip to multiple stores and even after being loaded in and out of the car several times, his head never flopped about as it normally would.
