It's has three large knots in it, one on each end and one in the middle and is made out of a sort of mesh rope. The sample I received is for a very large dog. She loves to play so when she got this dog rope toy, she loves it! She loves to play tug o&rsquo; war with it and it doesn&rsquo;t shred or seem like it&rsquo;s going to tear apart easily. My other little dog who is a Yorkie walked by it and started to chew on it because I guess of the peanut butter scent of it. She is too little to pick it up with her mouth but did enjoy gnawing on it as well. Normally, we can only expect her toys to last a week or so as she is so hard on them, however, she has had her rope now for over a month and it's still in 1 piece. We play tug o war, she takes it outside, and she brings it to show everyone she meets. I can't believe how well it's holding up.
