<span itemprop="description">Warning: The assembly of this product is 'one-time' only!! We were told in store that the back rest could be removed for when travelling so the seat is less bulky. The assembly instructions leaflet only mentions this fact in the last stage of the instructions. Perhaps this important message should be in bold font at the beginning of the assembly instructions. We inadvertently followed the in store demonstration and removed the back rest causing one of the plastic clips to shear. Unfortunately it appears that replacement parts are not available to purchase for this product.</span>

It’s easy to set up and clean after meals too. The only negative about it is that it might not work for young babies. Even at 11 months old, my daughter still slides around in it a little bit so I can’t imagine how a 6-8 month old would be. But either way, it’s a great product and will be able to be used for a while!</span>

Thank you for the question. The Baby Base 2-in-1&trade; Seat - Cashmere is designed for use up to the age of 3 years old or 33lbs (kg). You may use the product only if the child meets ALL of the following conditions: &ndash;&ndash; Can sit up by himself or herself (approximately six months of age) &ndash;&ndash;Weighs less than 50lbs (22.6 kg). Also, please keep in mind when using the Baby Base 2-in-1&trade; Seat - Cashmere, always use restraints until child is able to get in and out of the product without help. The tray is not designed as a restraint system to hold the child in the product. Do not use on an adult chair unless at the seat bottom is at least 17&rdquo; (43 cm) wide and 15.5&rdquo; (39 cm) deep, and the seat back is at least 10&rdquo; (25 cm) tall.
