They havent changed much. Still nice and heavy metal. Quality metal truck that dumps with no problems and is easy to push around. He loves being outside in the sandbox filling up his truck with sand and then dumping it out. He likes the bright yellow color hes leaves it outside in the sunlight and there hasn't been any fading. The big wheels make it easy to push through sand. It's made of metal so it durable to be thrown around by kids (on concrete, grass, and sand). He loves it. I grew up playing with Tonka trucks and am glad my little boy gets to do the same. They're a classic. This one is made with the same heavy duty material that makes it impossible for even my two year old to break( he likes to throw the occasional toy). So glad he got this.
