Cranky at the Docks includes track attached to the base of the crane that can connect to other Thomas & Friends Wood train sets and track, plus two track adaptors that are compatible with other wood track systems, including classic Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway (sold separately and subject to availability). Featuring Cranky the Crane, Bulstrode the Boat, a dock manager figure and four cargo pieces, this destination provides inspiration for imaginative, kid-crafted stories. Children can use Cranky to lift and lower the cargo pieces, and load them into Bulstrode. For a seamless playtime experience, the redesigned Thomas & Friends Wood toy trains and track are also compatible with classic Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway trains and track. Although our set is Melissa & Doug, this Thomas & Friends set comes with adapters to fit most traditional wooden train tracks. I was THRILLED to see that - this toy fits perfectly with our existing set. Both of my kids (seven year old son, two year old daughter) have enjoyed using this crane to load the barge. It works well, is sturdy and well made, and seems like it will hold up to lots of play. My only complaint is that the dial to raise and lower the crane is a little small. A slightly larger dial or even a handle would probably be a better fit. Overall, this is a great choice for young train fans!</span>

We are using this in addition to our wood train set, the adapter works perfect to connect the pieces. They love doing the crank and moving the boxes around, the magnets work great at keeping them in place. The toy is good quality, I can tell it will last. The little person is so cute, I love toys like this for my kids to use their imagination, this is a great play set.</span>

They have played with cranky everyday. The quality is great it seems very sturdy and I love all the detail. It also comes with a boat, cargo, 2 adapters and a person. If this is your first Thomas set I recommend getting some tracks because it doesn't come with any.</span>
