My son recently turned 1 and this came right in on time and was the perfect toy. It has three pieces to it. Thomas the train, a pull behind hook up trailer, then the birthday cake. My son didn't care too much for Thomas but the birthday cake was a hit. It likes up and talks. There is even a sensor so he could try "blowing" out the candle. The quality is great, since at the moment my little guy is teething, and while he sometimes "chews" on the candle instead of blowing it out nothing has broken or chipped off. This is great because he can actually blow out again and again safely. We did think it might be a little bigger, but comparing it to being in my son's hand and I think it's the perfect fit, any bigger and he might have trouble carrying it. He still has fun playing with it well past his birthday. There isn't really anything negative I can say. One thought would simply be having more recordings/different sayings or birthday songs to sing to him when he plays with the birthday cake, but honestly he loves it!</span>
