Let me start by saying that my father in law and husband, who are both very handy around the house, were stumped in some areas on how to put it together. It definitely wasn't easy as the instructions were confusing. When it was completed we had to air out the drawers as the smell of the wood was taking over my nursery. After a couple of days I'm glad that I'm finally about to put clothes away. Sturdy, good sized dresser that we use as a change table aswell. If you're not too savvy with tools, I wouldn't recommend this product. That being said, now that it's assembled, I really like it. The drawers are easy enough for my 3 year old to open but don't slide easily back in so she can't slam her fingers in them. Hours to Assemble!</span> <span itemprop="description">This dresser is beautiful and sturdy and exactly what I wanted. That being said, it took me 6 hours to assemble it. Maybe I'm slow. Maybe I'm weak. At the end, there was unused hardware that I was never directed to use by the instructions. The screws stripped very easily, and were very difficult to get in all the way. I left a bunch hanging out, just a hair, because they just wouldn't turn any more. Opposite of other construction projects I've undergone, the unit itself was easy to assemble - It was the drawers that were PAINFUL to put together. Also, the instructions are very small, with very light print. You can barely read them. They said not to use a drill, but in many cases you need to make new holes and the wood is hard. Some of the pre-drilled holes just aren't big enough. Halfway through I used my screw driver to grind the holes bigger, which only helped a little.
