<span itemprop="description">I just purchased this gate, and it isn't very good. First we thought we were missing the connector parts but we found them jammed into the ends of the gate. We had to use a knife to remove them as they were stuck. Got the gate put up and it is not square either. It's definitely not worth the money. The extension piece didn't stay in the gate very well and it's very misleading. It's not really what you would think to be an adjustable gate, it doesn't slide to fit the opening, instead it's extra inserts so there is still a chance it won't fit the opening.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This gate is nice and tall so our tall baby can’t reach the top to pull up on. It’s also fairly easy for parents to open (sometimes it takes two attempts to get the two triggers activated to open the door) but I’m already getting used to it after a week. It’s super sturdy and hasn’t wiggles or needed readjusting at all. We bought furniture protector cups (way cheaper than the ones made for baby gates) to protect our walls as an added security but this may not have been necessary as the gate comes with pads.</span>

This gate is strong enough to hold up after an adult leans on it daily! It's easy to put together with such little work and can be put up quickly without any tools. The entrance to my kitchen is door width so I’m guessing that’s why it holds up tight with only pressure. I’m not sure if it would work so well with a bigger space. Over all a great purchase without damaging my walls also is I good height my dad can’t walk over because it’s about waist high.</span>

Upon receiving the gate, the steel frame was not square and bent, so it was impossible for the gate to close. After thinking I got the 1 in 1000 defective product, I returned it and ordered another one. When the second one came, it had the exact same problem. Terrible quality assurance by Safety 1st.
Toys R Us had great customer service, however.</span>

The door is easy to open with one hand and has an indicator to show if it’s locked or not. He said it was easy to install. Using it took a couple days to get used to. My left hand is not as agile as my right so opening it with my left hand was more difficult. There are pegs on the bottom to stop it from swinging open both directions if you'd like. I prefer to have it swing open both directions so I do not use this function but I like having the option. Bought it on sale so it was worth it, not sure I would've paid full price for it though. Would recommend this.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this for using as the dog gate around one month ago. This item only can be shopped online and shipped to home only. When I received I found there very big quality isse that the door totally can’t be closed and it seems a used one very obviously (maybe onebody returned it before). I brought it to metrotown store to returned. They told me they only can return me the product’s cost and can’t return me the shipping. I understand but still think it’s not fair for me to pay $20 shipping and get nothing and because there is quality issue with the product!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this gate about a month ago and we are very happy with it. It was super easy to install and it's very sturdy for a tension gate. Our one year old stands and shakes on the railings and it doesn't budge. It's also very clean and simple looking so blends in with the house nicely. Would definitely recommend!</span>

Hello! The gate is adjustable and was manufactured and tested to fit openings from 29&rdquo;-47&rdquo; using the two extensions (included) and is 36&rdquo; high.

I have 2 of these gates and so does my daughter. We haven't tried it against a banister but I would think it would work fine. Buy it, try it and if it doesn't work return it.
