Then, if your device isn't perfectly aligned, kiss your ability to use your volume buttons goodbye. Or rather, you can use the up but not the down. I bought this, naively thinking that the two angles would be fine. I failed to take into account that it has to be on a surface with zero incline or the iPad falls out of the base. I've resorted to using poster putty so I can angle it a bit without it falling. I can't count the number of times I've had to pick up off the floor. I guess it didn't shatter, though, so there's that.
