The size of the water gun is perfect for my 5yr old son because it holds a very good amount of water & doesn’t get to heavy for him to carry around but however when collecting water into the gun it shoots out of the handle & gets the handler all wet which I didn’t like at all because I had to fill it each time for my son & I was completely soaked just by filling it up(not shot) but when he shot it it worked okay wise but because of all the leakage when filling & after filled it leaked way to much out so it didn’t leave much to shot out. I’m sorry but I definitely won’t purchase again but is a wonderful experience.</span>

Though sometimes it creates a seal and i have to pull the arm that help sucks up the water for him because it's a little difficult. It also floats in water too, even when full of water. Big win.</span>

It’s definitely different than a normal water gun. It doesn’t seem to hold a lot of water but it will give a great soaking to anyone on the other side of it</span>

It doesn't hold much water and no matter how you hold it, it leaks. When you depress the plunger to fire it blows water out the back, so you end up soaked too.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Super Soaker Torrent Water Blaster Pump to Fire a Flooding Blast of water by Nerf. Although there was no paper instructions except for the three pictures on the back of the packing on how to work it, it was pretty easy to work. It needs to be in water or the blue handle will not extend. You will have some resistance if not. The handle is what sucks up the water when pulling up or out. There is a longated slit at the end of the Soaker which is where the water will suck into and blast out from. You can get a good two blast before submerging back into water to reload. Very fun for the beach, pool or water fight</span>

You just stick the front part in the water and pull the back handle. Then push the handle back in to spray out so much water. It’s a lot of water that comes out super quickly. My son gets a kick out of it. This is really well made for an inexpensive water gun. I know it will last us for a long time.</span>

Thanks for your question! To fill the Nerf Super Soaker Torrent Water Blaster, immerse the front of the blaster in water, and pull the plunger handle back to fill the tank.
