It is called a Mega XL for a reason. The darts are huge! It has a 6 dart rotating drum. The large darts make a cool whistling sound when they travel through the air. The darts even fly pretty high. My son loves setting up targets and seeing how many he can hit or just seeing how high up these huge darts will go in the sky.</span>

The punch from the dart when it hits you is not intimidating which is awesome because it prevents crying lol. The whistle isn't too loud which I wish it was a bit louder. I love the fact that it doesn't need any batteries which in turn not making the gun super heavy which is awesome. So far he's had it about a month and there hasn't been any jams.</span>

It’s currently the largest Nerf gun my son has in his collection (he has quite a few). The bullets are also massive and the range is good. Only con is that it only holds 6 bullets so have to reload frequently, but definitely one to add to the collection!</span>
