The gun has 4 extra places that will hold the darts, so you can reload quickly. It is really cool looking and easy to maneuver. Be sure not to shoot at face or eyes. Ages 8 and up. It would be great to get a second gun so that 2 people can play. I really love and trust NERF products because they are always fun and always safe.</span>
