He loves putting things together and this was no exception, it was easy enough for him to do it by himself which great! He has it displayed in his room and loves showing everyone. The box indicated that there were 280 pieces &amp; they came packaged in several bags but none of them were numbered so we didn&rsquo;t know which bag to start with. The picture instructions show which pieces you need for each step &amp; how they are assembled, but a lot of the pieces look almost identical to other pieces so it was hard to tell some of them apart. Also, the pieces seem to be bagged randomly so it is easiest to just dump them all out &amp; then put the &ldquo;like&rdquo; pieces together. We worked on Pikachu for about 90 minutes &amp; my grandson is really happy with the completed figure. My son was so excited to build this as we only buy Lego kits. From the very beginning my son was frustrated, the bags were not numbered and had to all be emptied as there were parts in several bags. He is very organized and having the pieces all out he was getting overwhelmed. My son is 10 and has been doing building for years. If your kid is up for a challenge then this is for them. It&rsquo;s not for beginner builders unless you plan on helping on the build.
