The set comes with a wide variety of pieces that allows for multiple players. The building blocks are made from a hard and sturdy plastic. The pieces are a little hard to take apart; especially those that are the same size. We had lots of fun building the dinosaur whose instructions came with the toy. The packaging tube is very creative and big enough to fit all of the pieces back in when finished. The building tubes kept my daughter occupied for hours, it was enough building tubes for her to build several items, like mini houses. I wasn't happy with the product as my kids got bored of them very fast. We love that they are compatible with building blocks made by other companies. I think the best feature of this item is the bright variety of colors in this tube. I have 3 boys so most of the sets we purchase are mainly very dark colored. Sometimes the boys like to liven things up and now that they have this set, they now have some alternate colors that usually only come in sets designated for girls. When looking at the picture, I thought the tube we were going to receive would be huge. It really doesn't take a big container to hold 220 pieces. As you can see from the picture, there is a wide variety of pieces, so its not just cubes or flats. This isn't entirely representative of all the blocks I received since some already got incorporated in other building structures the boys had. Its a good stand-alone set for someone wanting to just keep some blocks handy during travel. Child enjoyed playing with the blocks, but seemed frustrated a bit that he couldn't build two of the ideas at the same time.
