He also loved to wear the hat. He spent a long time playing with the blocks on several occasions. The hat is adjustable which is great but the adjusting part comes out the the hat easily when the kids drop it in the ground. This comes with the adjustable hard hat, a good amount of blocks to create something, and a hammer....good combo overall. I love how the quality of these holds up against being thrown around and beaten by the hammer. This is a great toy for younger kids since it is all larger parts. They are currently in a tool phase so this is why I thought this would be perfect for them. I open it and the hard hat that came with it had a piece you had to attach to it that made it adjustable for their head size. It went on easy but wasnt worth the time to snap it to the hat because it fell of easily. I ended up just leaving it off and they were still able to wear the hat without it. They played with the blocks that came with it but there wasnt many of them in the box but they were more interested in the hammer that came with it. Blocks are big and easy to work with, the hard hat is cute. The hat&rsquo;s sizing belt wasn&rsquo;t the easiest to work, and once I got it to the desired size it didn&rsquo;t stay, so we removed it. He loved that it had the little hat which he put on while playing with the blocks the entire time. He has been learning to put blocks together and to take them apart which this really helped. It wasn't too many pieces to were he was overwhelmed, the amount of pieces was perfect.
