We have had a small set before and he done really well with it so I just let him get on with it himself. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. We even found a video online that gives you step by step instructions if you need it. The only bit that I helped with my son was when he wanted the stickers put on, he wantes them to be really straight so I helped he out. The set works great for little hands and it prefect for my sons age. The monster truck sits in pride in place on his bedside table when he isn't playing with it. He loves the pull back feature as it helps it feel like a real monster truck driving crazy. He has been taking it apart and putting it back together and even showing his younger brother who has just turnwd 4 how to do it. Which helps his brother with his fine motor skills. We love this toy and would love to get more from the range</span>
