Who doesn't love blasting things from your arm/wrist like Spiderman?? It is a little big for him but fits just fine, so if you have an older child, it will also work great. My 3 yr old daughter wanted to give it a go as well and she can hold it on, so I guess it still kind of works but not as epic. You basically load the rings into the top, then squeeze a mechanism to fire them out and away! They shoot decently far, are soft so no one gets hurt, and my 6 yr old is able to successfully squeeze the shooter mechanism. He still can't pull the trigger on most nerf guns, so I thought this was an important point- the smaller kiddos can use this successfully! The only downside, is that it is a bit finicky. Sometimes when he loads the rings, it takes a couple tries of squeezing the mechanism and shaking it around a bit for them to fire. Sometimes between rings it gets a bit weird too, but hasn't hindered the fun. He is really into any battle toys, especially things having to do with Marvel. It is unique and blasts the rings with enough power to get them across a room. It is simple enough that even his 4 year old sister can load the rings in herself. The blaster is large enough that I can easily fit my hand in it but light enough so that kids of any age can use it. The only downside is that it only comes with 5 rings and I can&rsquo;t seem to find replacements for them. My dogs have already gotten a hold of 2 of the rings and my son has lost 1 so we are already down to 2 rings left. It requires assembly but he was actually able to assemble it all on his own with the provided instructions. It works well and shoots the disc's pretty far. Load, point, and squeeze. It's that simple. The soft foam disks don't hurt if shot at other people. This is literally a one size fits all toy. Your hand easily slides up unto the blaster where your fingers wrap around and grab onto a &quot;handle&quot; squeeze the handle with your fingers (like opening and closing your hand) and viola every pull launches a disk in flight to your desired target. It fits over his wrist like a long bangle bracelet with a small handle across the front with a firing button. It fires soft discs. They fire quite far but they do not hurt if they hit. He has been chasing my granddaughter with it and nobody has cried yet so that's a big thumbs up in my book! He even lets her have turns so he can get shot. It is very easy to load the toy and very easy for a small boy to use. We have dart guns and foam ball shooters where the triggers are very hard for him to use. He loves this one and enjoys seeing how far he can send the rings!
