My four year old son used it first and did not want to share it with his sisters. He had no issues operating the controls; there are only two buttons and he was easily able to use them with no problems. This car is well built and will give hours of fun to all. It has literally left its mark on our walls from repeated run ins with the wall. So much fun and a really great RC car!</span>
