She was busy playing with dishes in sink. The utencil and pots kept her attention all morning. Lots of accessories kept her busy. Microwave door, refrigerator and oven door opens and closes. Knobs made cool clicking sounds but toddler couldn't turn it yet....this will grow with her. Love it. Also like the nice touch of sparkle I. Plastic. Play cookies and cupcakes are so cute. There is a burner that opens for 2 batteries. The compartment has no metal for the batteries to connect to. Customer service wouldn&rsquo;t send a replacement, wanted me to disassemble the whole kitchen and return it. Thankfully the great staff at the store helped. Unfortunately what we discovered is the burner apparently is not meant to work - the manufacturer used the burner from a different model. She can not move the knobs. They are even extremely hard for me to move! As like all the other reviews here, the burner that requires batteries wasn&rsquo;t made correctly. There is no storage for the toys that come with it and the things that do come with the product don&rsquo;t even fit on the shelves in the fridge or the oven. The set requires 2 AA batteries. Is that for the burner to make a sound? Mistake in manufacturing. I purchased mine before Christmas and contacted them to advise them of the missing parts. I returned to toy r us to get another one, however, upon opening a couple of them, it was discovered that they all had the same missing parts. I wrote to toys r us to advise them that they should place a recall on the item as they were all defective.
