Built it over a month, and was always an enjoyable experience. Building Lego sets is my break from reality, and this set did its job! No issues to mention, and all worked well! I did miss the transmission under the passenger seat, so maybe one day I'll disassemble and put it back together, but for now, I'm very happy with the set. This was an awesome build and probably the most challenging build I have ever done but.... It seemed without little reward. The set looks great and is a good representation of the real thing, it was a must have for a lego building ferrari fan! My main upset with the build is the 'flimsy detail of the animate parts of the build. The boot does not stay up and the joints seem' weak' the bonnet and stay work well but it catches the rails representing the window moulding - design oversight? The doors are the biggest let down, again they look great on first inspection but they also seem super flimsy and not well designed, one side of the car closes nicely but the other doesn't, so much so I've added an extra stud just to hold them in place and keep the model 'stable'. I really only enjoy building the large pieces that Lego offers as I don't play with them. I simply enjoy the destressing effect of quiet build time, my job offers plenty of stress. I enjoyed every aspect of this build. There were building techniques used on this model that I have not seen and I am left in awe as to how a creator even came up with some of these techniques. The angles created and the end product flow of the model is exceptional. As it should be, this is an Italian piece of art. I have built the other large scale vehicles (Porsche, Bugati and Lamborghini) and this one stands above those in both build and final product appearance in my humble opinion...although the Porsche is a very close 2nd.
