<span itemprop="description">Awesome set! Bought it to motorize and drive around our pool which it's perfect for. The only downside is the large green and blue pontoons are not waterproof. The green piece and blue piece are technically two separate pieces that come pre-snapped together and create a very small crack between the two pieces. Water will get into the crack and eventually cause the boat to sink. This is easily remedied with clear waterproof tape or something similar but I wasn't expecting this. The default model is also heavy enough that most of the pontoon pieces will be submerged. This allows for water to easily get into the large blue piece.
Other than that, fantastic set but if you want it for actual water play, you'll have to modify it a bit.</span>

La construction m'a occupée une bonne heure et ce fut un régal. Le rendu final est vraiment très beau, avec un système pour actionner les différentes parties du catamaran très bien pensé. Le petit plus étant qu'il flotte !

<span itemprop="description">I bought this at the store, came home and built it in 4 hours. There were a few extra parts and lost one (but found it later!). The build was challenging and the effort was rewarding for this old salt. I was pleasantly surprised with all the move surfaces.
I did disassemble it and bagged the parts, and reboxed the kit. :( But I am looking into doing a modification on it so it can be sailed on a pool or small pond.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Mon fil adore les LEGO et quelle ne fut pas sa surprise en découvrant ce lot assez inhabituel pour lui : étant âgé de tout juste 7 ans, c'est sa première expérience avec la gamme Technic. Dès lors, sa première question a été "Et il flottera ?". J'ai donc décidé de garder le mystère jusqu'au bout !
Concernant la construction, il faut s'armer de patience et, surtout, bien regarder la notice. Plus technique que les gammes habituelles, le montage s'effectue par l'intermédiaire des petites pièces qui, parfois, peuvent se ressembler. Heureusement, LEGO a mis en place un système plutôt ingénieux pour voir s'il s'agit de la bonne pièce ou non : un schéma de la pièce à l'échelle 1:1. Il suffit donc de déposer la pièce sur ce dessin pour être sûr qu'on est toujours bon.
Une fois le catamaran fini, nous sommes allés directement le placer dans notre piscine et quelle ne fut pas la surprise de mon fils quand il l'a vu flotter et partir au loin. Depuis, il ne le lâche plus !</span>
