<span itemprop="description">Build time: 40 minutes. My 3 year old son helped me with 66% of the bricks, this was the first set of the day and it was late AM.
For the first time, we have a set that features throwing a shell at another character. I was wondering how LEGO would portray it. Even during the build I didn't realize that was what we were building.I would love to see it again in another set (e.g. having a shell on a sliding platform might be an interesting idea).
There are two exclusive characters in this set (Whomp and Lava Bubble), Whomp is a very large character with a brick printed for his face. This is obviously the one that my son likes a lot. It's the same on my side and as I told my son: when you see Ba-Boom's smile, you see why it's important to always brush your teeth and go to the dentist.
As for the playability, it's a great set for collecting lots of gold coins: the mobile platform gives us lots of them and so does the P switch (that's what turns bricks into gold coins in the video game). The moving platform doesn't have studs to help Mario stand better, which increases the difficulty level when going back and forth.</span>

Pour la première fois, nous avons un set qui met de l'avant le lancement d'une carapace vers un autre personnage. Je me demandais comment LEGO allait transposer cela et même lors de la construction je ne réalisais pas que c'était cela nous construisions. J'aimerais bien le revoir dans un autre set (par ex. avoir une carapace sur une plate-forme coulissante pourrait être une idée intéressante).
Il y a deux personnages exclusifs dans ce set (Ba-Boum et de Bulle de lave), Ba-Boum est un très gros personnage avec une brique imprimée pour son visage. C'est évidemment celui-ci que mon fils aime beaucoup. C'est la même chose de mon côté et comme j'ai dit à mon fils : en voyant le sourire de Ba-Boum, on voit pourquoi il est important de toujours se brosser les dents et d'aller voir le dentiste.
Du côté de la jouabilité, c'est un excellent set pour amasser plein de pièce d'or : la plate-forme mobile nous en donne beaucoup et l'interrupteur P (c'est ce qui transforme les briques en pièce d'or dans le jeu vidéo) aussi. La plate-forme mobile n'a pas de tenons pour aider Mario à mieux se tenir, ce qui augmente le niveau difficulté lorsqu'on fait des allers-retours.</span>
