There are good parts included (3 bags of those weapon accesories in dark grey is very, very nice) and the build has a fair bit of LEGO ingenuity to be of interest to a casual builder. All in all, I regretted buying this. Go for something more functional or better looking.
Date published: 2022-12-13

Rated 3 out of 5 by ScratchyBrush081 from Finicky and imprecise. More a model, less lego While I’ve enjoyed building most of the Lego helmet collections and their other collector sets, the Probe Droid was a disappointment all around - and not likely one I’ll bother displaying either. Completed it is incredibly fragile - any brush and barely attached parts will fall off, and reconnecting them results in more separation and more bits to reattach. This is a never ending cycle with this set- every part you attach causes others to fall off, as nothing is fully hooked on and there is very little actual foundation there. In addition, rather than being more traditional Lego blocks and panels, a significant number of bricks (probably close to 35-40%) are unique and non-standard, which makes identifying what random part is which very difficult during construction - and it’s very easy to lose or misplace them while hunting for what fell off next. The kit sometimes feels more like a model - each piece unique instead of Lego bricks going together in a configuration you couldn’t imagine before. Lastly, none of the base and the actual model attach - see prior points - which means it feels wobbly and flimsy even when completed. I’m sorely tempted to glue it all together like a model- or chuck it into the spare parts bin- as there’s nothing else to be done with it once completed. It’s not fancy enough for display, and setting it out results in breakage. Overall I’d skip. Wait till the next generation, if there is one. This simply wasn’t well thought out, and definitely wasn’t worth the frustration.
Date published: 2022-11-12

LEGO Star Wars TM Imperial Probe Droid 75306 (683 pieces) Reviews - page 2

y_2024, m_3, d_27, h_9

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.38

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_3, tr_92

loc_en_CA, sid_E402FBFC, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_toysrus-ca

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 5ms

reviews, product
