<span itemprop="description">I bought this set on a whim because the concept of the build was intriguing and I saw that it was retiring soon. As soon as I received the package I knew I had made a great choice. LEGO spared no authenticity with this set. Everything from the shoebox packaging, to the white paper shoe wrapping on the inside, to the actual shoelace that comes as part of the build served to make this an immersive building experience and one of the more memorable LEGO sets I've built lately. The only part of the set I took issue with is the tip of the shoe, which is made out of two large bricks rather than what I hoped was a combination of smaller ones. This somewhat took away from the building experience, however this is still a great set and still worth the purchase.</span>

I’ve always bought him Lego sets but had never built one on my own…I was so excited to get this and start building, it’s definitely a conversation starter. The best word to describe it is DOPE! I’m old-school and this takes me back to Run-DMC days “My Adidas”. I have to say this is one of the top Mother’s Day gifts I’ve received. Great job Lego on this design, outstanding. Shelltoe’s have always been one of my staples.</span>
