Our granddaughter really loves them. She is five going on teens and finds the build well within her scope of abilities and understanding. The instructions were easy to follow and it was a pleasant experience. This set comes with 348 pieces and is ideal for girls 7 and up. There were so many cute little details, starting with the 2 Lego Friends dolls included - Mia and Claire, along with their friends owl and horse, who has a dalmatian pattern. The horse drawn carriage has so many fun details and features inside, of which the roof flips open for easy access. Lastly the tent with the crystal ball which spins to &quot;reveal the future&quot;, was magical and whimsical. The instructions were easy to follow when putting it together and the theme certainly kept Grace entertained. Grace loved putting this one together as it appealed to her. She connected with the theme and has not stopped playing with it since! I would certainly recommend this set and it does have appeal to children from the ages of 6 and upwards. My overall review of this product is that it was fun to put together, the instructions were easy to follow and the enjoyment that Grace has had doing this was fantastic. My daughter loved it and it kept her occupied for a good few hours sorting through the pieces and finding that next piece to complete the build. She particularly connected with the horse and the owl. She loved building Mia and Claire and also the interaction between the characters. My grand daughter found it a bit hard to build. The adults ended up building it for her. When it was built she loved playing with the horse and cart especially. I liked the colours. I enjoyed building the set. I enjoyed the magical circus theme.
