My son loves legos and I was very excited to start this tradition, but why are there GUNS and Handcuffs? Building a small 2 part train and the levers or side steam pipes are GUNS??? Why? So very disappointed. The Christmas season is about love, family and friendship not GUNS and HANDCUFFS.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The builds aren’t related to Christmas…nor are they labeled. There was a “dessert table” with a white cylinder lego that nobody knew what it was. There was an unattached shovel inside a vehicle bag. Many trucks, planes, helicopters, etc that had nothing to do with Christmas. My kids are 8 & 9 and they both were disappointed with the lego “scene” as it didn’t seem like a Christmas scene to them. This was our first year to try the advent calendar with them and to be honest, I’m not sure we will again.</span>

Mostly just mini figures and vehicles. Even the occassional random build - dont know if they are buildings or what purpose they serve.
Previous years had a cohesive theme and pieces, this year just seems like the reject ideas on a play mat that doesnt even have a practical space for half of the builds.
Will seriously reconsider next year.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I’m not sure how interesting street furniture, by which I mean, strange cones and light pillars, are to children, but this aside our main gripe about this nicely presented advent calendar is that very often the little packets containing each day’s toy kit contain incorrect pieces – random bit left over etc. Not good enough really, especially since this is an introduction to Lego to our daughter.</span>
