<span itemprop="description">The only reason I didn't give this Lego set a 5 star rating is due to the instructions. There are different shades of brown that are hard to distinguish between and the art on the darkest brown is so dark you have issues counting the number of dots or if there are even dots on the top of the piece. Also the white pieces are tinted blue in the images. The set was missing several pieces which seems to be the norm these days. The detail in this set is excellent - way beyond what I expected. The actual building of the set is fun the reason for the low score is due to the color issues in the instructions. No repetition, neat colors and shapes and interesting facts about the origin of the parts in the instructions. My wife and I collect all the holiday sets and center them around the modular buildings for our Christmas decoration. All in all we are glad we bought this set.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was on the fence when this was first released because of the flesh colored bricks. As I looked at this set more, it started to grow on me, and decided to grab one. So happy that I did. It was such a fun build with so many elements, some of which paid homage to previous creator expert sets. My only criticism is that the wrought iron details on the rooftop are only three-sided and not four, which I think will make the finish look more complete especially if it's placed right beside a shorter building.</span>

Le balcon et l'enseigne de l'hôtel font un peu cheap, c'est un 5 étoiles pied un formule 1.
L'ajout d'un étage lui donne plus de consistance et avec les balcons modifiés et déplacés, plus harmonieux.

<span itemprop="description">Over the weekend, my daughter and I purchased this set to add to our modular set collection. I’m not a fan of corner build sets, but she convinced me to purchase because we thought the display was nice in the Lego store. I must say the building experience was excellent. I read other reviews and agree with others comments of how interesting it was to put this set together. The techniques used on some of the areas were fun and different from other sets we have. However, there are some things about this set that I did not like. The roof railing seems unfinished with one side being empty. The art gallery is too small with barely enough room for one minifigure. No bathroom on the second floor makes no sense for a hotel. Lastly, I think the hotel would have worked better without the gallery on the outside. Maybe a dining area or bar on the ground floor. The art gallery/museum seems like it should be its own Modular set in the future. In all, I think the pros of this set building experience narrowly outweighs the cons. This will probably be my only corner set. Our display setup for our Lego modular builds does not accommodate corner set well. Right now, I just have it sitting on a shelf alone. I hope I see a grand hotel or living quarters such as a villa, apartment complex, flat houses in the future.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I got into the Modular Building line with the release of the Diner, and have loved it ever since. This is definitely one of the better sets from the outside, which gives off an old Florida vibe. The page 230 thing that other people have mentioned is definitely strange, but it is not the worst thing ever. My only gripe with this set, the Police Station, and the Library Modular sets is that they don’t include vehicles. The Diner had the beautiful pink Cadillac, the Garage had the tow truck, but these last three haven’t had anything. Overall, this is defiantly one of my favorite sets and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering buying it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When they released pictures for this set my jaw dropped! the sand green with the light nougat color is absolutely beautiful. The lime green tree really pops and adds so much character to this set as well. The stairs that lead up to the patio were perhaps my favorite part of the build. They are so worn and fun. Just perfect. The art studio is amazing as well. The art displays were a lot of fun to build. This has knocked the Brick Bank from its throne as my favorite corner building. Wow, what a fun build.</span>

<span itemprop="description">l'ensemble de l'hôtel-boutique est sympa à construire. Extérieurement il rend très bien (point négatif le balcon du premier étage à construire avec des menottes entre autre, j'aurai préféré un balcon "normal". La Boutique est pour moi trop petite, pas possible de mettre deux personnages à l'intérieur. Le hall de l’hôtel aurait sans doute pu être rétréci pour faire gagner de l'espace à la boutique quitte à laisser un passage par l'intérieur du hall vers la boutique. Autre point négatif, dès le premier sachet de construction il manquait une pièce. Point positif, plusieurs figurines présentes. J'ai passé un bon moment de construction. J'attends le prochain bâtiment lego expert avec impatience.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This a great looking model. Possibly my favourite among the 7 modular buildings that I now have. The angled building is very interesting but the shape does impinge on the interior space. Being the 15th anniversary modular building it is a pity that it wasn't built across 48 studs like the 10th anniversary 10255 Assembly Square set. Obviously this would have increased the price but would have allowed space for an elevator/lift. How else is the room service trolley going to reach the upper floors? I think it also would have benefited from having a 4th floor to allow more rooms and to add more variety to the town skyline.
I like the art gallery but it is very small.
Anyway it is what it is and that is very good. As with each of the modular buildings the designers have varied each floor to provide different build experiences. The details are wonderful e.g. the palm tree trunk is superb and I love the bathroom on the top floor of the hotel. The only detail that I thought was a bit weak was the bottom of the handrail on the stairs on the ground floor; it just doesn't fit the shape of the bottom of the stairs.
I certainly recommend this set. Don't worry if you haven't bought any modular buildings before. This displays very well as a standalone building, particularly if you position it at an angle so you are looking at the corner with the front door as in the promotional illustration.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a great addition to my modular buildings. I especially enjoyed building the hotel lobby, second floor and facade. A lot of cool little details that all tie back to one of the modular buildings in the past which was super fun! I wish they added a little mystery or some other part of the story but overall great set.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My wife bought this for me for my birthday recently as I've undergone a bit of a Lego renaissance thanks to my boys hitting an age where they're playing with Lego. Compared to some other sets, you seem to get a lot of bricks for the money. The build itself took me a few evenings as I like to take my time - but was highly enjoyable and a good destress. It's a great-looking set for display too. Even the wife doesn't mind it out on show (unlike my Star Wars sets!) The main reason I flagged this as a 3 star for playability is I don't think this set is intended as a playset due to the size of the rooms inside the building - a bit snug to act out stories for young imaginations. You'd have to have a city around this to make playing really engaging - nothing against the set itself - there's only so much you can cram in. Lots of details to capture the imagination and some great minifigs. If you have any of the earlier Creator Expert buildings, there are some Easter eggs I'll not spoil. Overall, great set to build, great concept and I'm now planning which set to ask for next Christmas/Birthday to start my city off!</span>
