Capture the essence of a historical London landmark with the LEGO Architecture 21045 Trafalgar Square set. Named in honor of Lord Horatio Nelson following his 1805 naval victory over Napoleon, the square has since become a popular tourist attraction and preferred location for political and community gatherings. This detailed LEGO interpretation depicts the domed National Gallery complete with columned facade, Nelson's Column flanked by 4 lions, the square's famous fountains and 4 sculpture plinths. The sections at the rear of the National Gallery structure can be removed for access to a detailed interior with brick-built statue and paintings. Tree-lined borders, ornate lampposts, 2 London buses, 2 black cabs and a tiled baseplate depicting the square and surrounding roads complete the model. Finished with a decorative nameplate, this collectible building set delivers a highly satisfying building experience to all with an interest in architecture, travel, history and design, and makes a truly iconic centerpiece for the home or office.

It has some really unique techniques used during building (I&rsquo;m kinda obsessed with how you build the steps) that make it fun to build. The ability to open parts of the back and look into the gallery is very cool. Like other reviewers, I wish the &ldquo;artwork&rdquo; wasn&rsquo;t so juvenile, but it&rsquo;s still a really neat feature. The trees, fountains, and buses bring great color and visual interest to the set and it&rsquo;s just an all around great set.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-01-24</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-01-24" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1102408514"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">JoJo</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Pushing Propaganda vs Historical Accuracy</span> <span itemprop="description">The set was actually pretty decent and a nice building experience. The worst part is the rainbow art inside the gallery, not for historical reasons but to push a narrative. I don't want my hobby or my gifts to my children to be plagued by political nonsense.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-09-05</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-09-05" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1098596747"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">3</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">SpicyPoodle</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Not great to look at</span> <span itemprop="description">While it was a fun build, with some interesting techniques, it does not make a good display model. The trees stick out like sore thumbs, the fountains say sci-fi more than water feature, and the statuary is represented by random gray pieces (rather than bespoke models). The art in the National Gallery is especially out-of-place, and ugly besides.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-07-17</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-07-17" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1096743266"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">3</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">JDPRIMUS1234</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Very Difficult!!!</span> <span itemprop="description">I keep all my pieces very organized in little individual little bags, so I can promise you that there were some pieces missing which made everything more difficult. I had to figure out what would and would fit with this build without directions half way through this build! There were so many pieces missing I thought they wanted to force me to buy a 2nd set just I could complete it accurately. The directions weren't super helpful either, because the angles of the directions pictures didn't make sense to what I was actually seeing at in person. I felt a strong positive sense in accomplishing it when it was finished though. Generally I also found this build was boring because it didn't have any character pieces in it. My final version of this build is a formatted version because so many pieces were missing and I didn't like the way some of the directions told me to do things. Wouldn't recommend this build. The little cars and double decker bus were very cute though.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-06-09</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-06-09" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1097919236"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Clau</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Lovely</span> <span itemprop="description">Lovely set.
